President William Howard Taft motored into the White House in 1909, bringing with him the first automobile to grace the White House lawns. Taft quickly became infamous on Washington's roads for his need for speed. These cufflinks celebrate Taft's joy rides in his beloved motorcar outside of the early 20th century White House.
