A replica of a sculpture made when Jefferson was 43 years old. By that time, he had drafted the Declaration of Independence, served as the Governor of Virginia and ambassador to France, and as a member of the first Continental Congress. He would go on to become Vice-President and then President of the United States. This portrait bust is made of crushed stone resin with a white patina finish.
