The White House Grounds, which span nearly 18 acres of parkland, are perfect for rolling Easter Eggs. The yearly Easter Egg Roll is a special opportunity for the public to come inside the fence and enjoy the beautiful space. Following a tradition that began in 1878, the president and first lady welcome children and their families onto the grounds to celebrate Easter Monday with a fun-filled day of egg rolling, games, music, and story-time.
