This playful, printed silk tie featuring the White House and bowling balls and pins is an homage to the storied bowling history at the White House. President Truman first built a bowling alley during his restoration of the White House in 1947, which was later moved to the Old Executive Office Building in 1955. In 1973, a single lane bowling alley was added to the White House by President Richard Nixon.
