This lovely reusable bag features a print of the watercolor, A View of the White House with Cherry Blossoms by Margaret Huddy. The colorful painting celebrates the annual cherry blossom season in Washington, D.C. It was First Lady Helen Herron Taft’s idea to plant the cherry trees along the Tidal Basin and her wish was realized in 1912 when 3,000 trees were given to the United States by Japan. Now more than 100 years old, the spectacular blossoms of the mature cherry trees are the focus of an annual springtime festival and parade. This bag is made of durable polyester and comes with a carrying pouch for storage when not in use. The bag is 20" x 16 1/2" when opened and can carry 44 pounds.
