The Official 2025 White House Christmas Ornament celebrates the 150th anniversary of State Dinners at the White House. Hand assembled, the ornament design is cut from delicate brass, etched, and printed with enamel ink and finished with 24-karat gold for the ultimate holiday shine. It features two highly recognizable plates from the White House State china collection, the Reagan and Clinton china services. Adorned with a red and gold twist cording for elegant hanging on your tree, it comes packaged in a keepsake giftbox. Includes an educational booklet with full color photos and informative descriptions of the history of White House State China Services.
The Official 2024 White House Christmas Ornament honors President Jimmy Carter. The ornament’s anchor shape, an iconic symbol of hope, represents Carter’s service in the United States Navy. Both the front and reverse side of the ornament feature peace doves, symbolic of President Carter’s work for peace in the Middle East, and perhaps most significantly, the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty signed on March 26, 1979. On the reverse side of the ornament is the Seawolf-class USS Jimmy Carter (SSN-23). Commissioned in 2005, it is the only submarine to be named for a living president. At the base of the anchor is a garland of peanut flowers, a reminder of Carter’s years as a farmer and businessman in Plains, Georgia. The 2023 Official White House Christmas Ornament is a festive holiday wreath, adorned on the front with decorations inspired by the handcrafted Christmas ornaments used in the White House during the Gerald R. Ford presidency. Dozens of cherubs, doves, stars, flowers, gingerbread men, candles, and pentagon balls, in bright, cheery colors are featured with red ribbons at the bottom bearing the words “Christmas 2023” and “The White House.”
The 2022 Official White House Christmas Ornament represents the cherished White House tradition of displaying a gingerbread house each holiday in the State Dining Room. Included with the beautifully gift-boxed keepsake is a gingerbread scented insert, booklet, and recipe card featuring a gingerbread recipe from First Lady Pat Nixon's time at the White House.
