Product description
The First Lady Nancy Reagan jewelry collection is inspired by the striking pearl choker worn by Mrs. Reagan in her official portrait by Aaron Shikler. Born in New York City, Nancy Reagan studied theater at Smith College and pursued a successful career performing on Broadway and in motion pictures. She met Ronald Reagan in 1951, and retired from making movies soon after their marriage in order to devote herself to the roles of wife and mother. As first lady from 1981 to 1989, Mrs. Reagan was an advocate for the arts and focused much of her energy on combatting the problems of drug abuse in the nation. This jewelry is made of cultured pearls and comes in a beautiful gift box that measures 3'' x 2 3/4'' x 1 1/4".
