Product description
Independence Hall in Philadelphia is globally recognized as the birthplace of the United States and the ultimate cradle of American democracy. Within its Assembly Room, the Founding Fathers debated and adopted the Declaration of Independence in 1776, severing ties with Great Britain. Eleven years later, in 1787, delegates returned to the building to draft and sign the United States Constitution, establishing the framework for the nation's government.
History Salvaged, LLC (HS) began with a simple goal: the reclamation, salvaging and repurposing of wood and other natural materials from historic and cultural sites throughout the United States that would otherwise be discarded and lost to time. History Salvaged works primarily with wood and timber removed from historical buildings and sites during renovation and restoration of existing structures as well as with trees and branches that have fallen in storms or are removed for maintenance, safety, or expanded construction. The result is unique heirlooms, that tell special stories worth preserving for generations to come. Made in the USA.
